Notice at Collection. We do not collect personal information from visitors to this website. The only information generated by your visit is standard server log data recorded automatically by our hosting provider, described below. We do not sell or share personal information.
Cur8r is operated by Emperox LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("Cur8r," "we," "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you visit cur8r.xyz.
The short version: we don't use cookies, we don't run analytics or advertising trackers, we have no accounts, and we don't ask you for anything. There is no form on this site.
We do not use cookies
Cur8r sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
We also don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, fingerprinting, or any third-party tracking technology. We don't build profiles of visitors and we don't track you across other websites.
One clarification for completeness: if you use the light/dark theme toggle, your browser stores that choice locally under the key theme in its own local storage. It never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and holds nothing but the word "light" or "dark." Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
What is collected
We ask you for nothing. There is no signup, no account, no newsletter form, and no contact form. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or payment information — we don't take payments, and there are no passwords because there are no accounts.
When you load a page, our hosting provider records standard server log information — IP address, browser user-agent, the URL requested, and a timestamp. This happens automatically for any website and is used to serve the site and to identify abuse or outages. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors, and we do not build any profile from them.
Audio and images on channel and briefing pages are served from our storage provider, which means your browser connects to that provider to fetch them. Those requests carry your IP address and user-agent to the provider, as any request for a file does. They set no cookies on our behalf.
If you email us, we'll have your email address and whatever you wrote, for as long as it takes to answer you and keep a record of the exchange. That's ordinary correspondence, not a collection practice.
In the categories used by California's privacy law, this is the complete picture:

That is the entire list. There are no other categories.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months.
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and have not in the preceding twelve months.
- We do not collect or process sensitive personal information. Please don't send us any.
- We do not profile you and we make no automated decisions about you. Cur8r's scoring and drafting systems evaluate candidate articles and sources against editorial criteria. They are never pointed at readers. Nothing about you is scored, ranked, segmented, or used to decide anything.
- We do not use your information to train AI models. We don't have your information.
Who receives it
We use a small number of service providers who process data strictly on our instructions:

Beyond these, we disclose information only if we're legally compelled to, or if it's necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.
If Cur8r is ever acquired or merged, this policy would go with the business, and we'd say so on the site before anything changed.
Podcast apps are separate
Cur8r channels are also distributed as podcasts through Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other apps. When you listen there, that app's own privacy policy governs — not this one. We receive aggregate, non-identifying listening statistics from our podcast host, such as episode download counts. We don't receive your identity from those platforms.
Other sites we link to
Briefings link out to the sources they discuss, and the site links to community and podcast platforms. We don't control those sites and we're not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies.
How long it's kept
Server logs are retained on our providers' standard schedules, which is a matter of days to weeks. We hold no database of visitors to retain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, or to have it deleted, under laws such as the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or similar state laws.
You're welcome to exercise them. Email cur8r@emperox.com and we'll respond within 45 days. There's no charge and we won't treat you differently for asking.
In practice the honest answer to most requests will be that we hold nothing about you: the only record of a visit is a server log line tied to an IP address, and we have no way to connect an IP address to a person. If you can identify a specific log entry, we'll act on it.
Verifying who you are. Because we have no accounts, we can't verify your identity against anything we hold. We'll ask for enough detail to locate whatever you're asking about, and we won't ask for more information than that.
Authorized agents. Someone may make a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof that you authorized them.
Appeals. If we decline a request, we'll explain why, and you may appeal by replying to that message. We'll respond to an appeal within 45 days. If we deny the appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We don't respond to it — and we don't track you, so there's nothing for it to switch off.
Global Privacy Control. Likewise, our site does not read GPC signals, because there is no sale or sharing of personal information for such a signal to opt out of.
Notice to users in Europe
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this section applies to you.
Controller. Emperox LLC is the controller for the processing described in this policy. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
What we process and why. Only the server log data described above — IP address, user-agent, URL, timestamp — automatically generated when your browser requests a page. Our legal basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): operating a website, keeping it available, and detecting abuse. We consider this minimal, expected, and not overriding of your rights, because we make no attempt to identify you and derive nothing from the logs about you as an individual.
We do not rely on consent for anything, because we set no cookies and run no trackers. We have no contract with you, because there's nothing to sign up for.
Where it goes. We are a US company and our providers operate in the United States, so your IP address and user-agent reach US servers when you load the page. The United States is not covered by a UK or EU adequacy decision. This is inherent to visiting any US-hosted website rather than a transfer we initiate, and we send nothing further.
Your rights. You may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email cur8r@emperox.com.
One caveat, stated plainly because it's true: under Article 11 GDPR, where a controller cannot identify a data subject, certain rights don't apply. We hold no identifiers beyond IP addresses in server logs and no means of linking one to you, so in most cases we genuinely will not be able to find "your" data. We'll tell you that rather than pretend otherwise.
Complaints. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In the EEA, it's the authority in your country of residence.
Age
This site is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and we have no actual knowledge of collecting, selling, or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child's personal information has somehow reached us, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
Traffic to and from the site is encrypted in transit. The published content database is protected by row-level security, and the public site holds read-only access to published material.
That said, no system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting personal information, we'll notify affected people and any regulator as required by law.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the version and date at the top. If a change is material — new categories of data, a new purpose, a new class of recipient — we'll say so plainly on the site.
Note for a future version: this policy is short because Cur8r currently collects nothing. Adding a newsletter, accounts, analytics, embedded players, or payments each require it to be rewritten in the same change that ships the feature.
